Highly educated people do not talk like this nor do they type the way the scammer has typed this email. So many clues here that out the scammer.
Do yourself a favor. Report this shit to the FBI and www.FBI.gov.
If you are a victim of a scam please save all proof of the crime against you, (email and text messages, photos, mailing information they give you, bank info they add to your credit card, etc) to be forwarded to your local FBI office. They will send your credit card company/ bank a warrant for the transgressing information for follow up and arrest.
